Original pipework

The existing heating pipes on the back wall were proving a bit of an eyesore, so we made up a pair of pilaster casings to cover them with and create an interesting feature. The door lintel was beaded around and plastered up to.

Mr & Mrs Turner now have a beautiful and unique conservatory with all the traditional styling and details of the old building, but with the benefit now of it being cosy and inviting all year round.

Quotes

"We were impressed at the effective and careful demolition of the original conservatory."

"What was most impressive was the superb attention to detail by Heritage Conservatories both in terms of designing and building the replica conservatory but also in respect of the refurbishment of the original cast iron equipment and decoration."

"We had prices from two joinery firms as well as the Heritage Conservatories quotation but Heritage's experience in this type of structure as opposed to simply being able to make windows convinced us."

"The general enthusiasm of the team (especially Alan Hooker) and their pride in the quality of workmanship was most pleasing."

"Overall we are delighted with the new conservatory which has turned out to be much better than we thought possible given the difficult job of copying a ninety-year old structure. This is down to the efforts of Alan and his team. Thanks very much from both of us."
