A handmade clay peg tile roof would compliment the thatching on the main building

It was decided that a handmade clay peg tile roof would compliment the thatching on the main building and the clay pan tiles on the neighbouring garage.

Conservation roof lights

The use of hardwood frames for durability and looks was the obvious frame choice. To enable ample light into the vaulted ceiling ‘Conservation roof lights’ were used. These having the benefit of sitting into the tiled roof thus being less visually obtrusive. A must for the conservation officer!

A full glass gable added the bit of magic that set the building apart from other designs. A rendered finish to match the existing house blended the walls in nicely.
