To achieve the space the rear corner of the house would have to be removed along with the kitchen walls. Our experience with this type of project made a daunting task painlessly simple, with our expertise using steelwork proving the key to success

Traditional chorded sliding sash windows in hardwood made from our conservation range were chosen to continue the Victorian features of the house and solid oak cills made a good match for the existing stone ones.

The Heritage hardwood lantern gave the lofty bright effect desired and the use of five separate micrspot lighting systems in the ceiling operating off five dimmer switches enables a variety of moods to be achieved.

Our building team are used to the unusual having worked on many period properties. On this occasion a well in the foundation trench was soon overcome.

  

As all our work complies with the latest building regulations the use of Pilkington ‘K’ toughened sealed units with argon gas throughout was a must
